Fogo with Olivia and Amerti

Oct. 6, 2022: Today I worked with Amerti and Olivia. Olivia is new. I thought it might be Hannah and that I’d forgotten her name, but it turned out to be an entirely new person. I think she also applied as a server. What else... I’m looking at my notes. Today Connor spilled a glass of red wine and I told Amerti that I had broken a glass too but it had no wine in it. Brenda was gonna be there but she almost got fired. It was for a lip piercing she got. She gave a talk about how she didn’t give a shit if she lost her job because the lip ring is important to her. But actually Matt just told her that she had to wear a mask in the future and sent her home for the night. It’s funny because I’d been wondering who the most recent person the managers fired was. Turns out it’s not Brenda. Good because she’s my favorite hostess. I wrote Brenda @ 6 but I don’t know if it was saying she came at 6 or left at 6. Rio and Gaucho were closed tonight. Today Table 62, which I remembered, asked for a manager. Matt told me to get Connor. I’m not sure what they were talking about.

I got two glasses of sparkling water tonight, and used my important chapstick 9 times. I also grabbed a light tray from Greyson and bussed some tables with glasses. I carried one in front of Matt but I’m not sure if he saw. Amerti did say she’s applying to other jobs. That was interesting. There were 145 reservations tonight. Amerti does drive to Fogo but she said that she parks and takes a bus coming from school. So she doesn’t pay in the Fogo lot either. After work I bopped over and talked to Tanner at Fhima’s. I’m disappointed I didn’t take a photo with him. It only occurred to me on the drive home. I also talked to Nancy quite a bit tonight. I admit that I was a bit negative, saying that all my friends had left. She said that I could always message her, which was good to hear.
