Fogo with Olivia

Oct. 12, 2022: Well tonight I took a photo on Olivia’s phone because I had left mine at home. That made the night not great. Israel, Amerti and Genesis were on the schedule but I worked the whole night with Olivia and Genesis. El was manager, thank god. I had good talks with Olivia, and Genesis also said some interesting things. Apparently she works with students, teaching math to kids who don’t know English that well. She also said she used to be a nanny, when I was talking about what my sister did. She said I could stop by some time, so I’ll talk to her more about that in the future.

Tonight we weren’t seating Rio, which I wrote down to remember it, and also Gaucho had a really big party that Nelly was serving. In the photo you can see Olivia’s necklace, that says Itzel. It’s her middle name. Amerti was sent home at 5:30, and I left at 8. There were 147 reservations tonight, so it wasn’t dead. I did also remember that the party for Promise was at Table 26. The reservation name was different but the first people said Promise and then someone else came in and said Promise and I remembered where to take them.

Tonight I actually told Genesis all about the car accident, she hadn’t known. I said that I used to be a server, and now the car accident has ruined my life and I’m on disability. And if not for the accident I’d be a CSR right now. I did carry a few trays for servers, two very light ones for Greyson, whose name I remembered. When I clocked out at 8:01 I got some lamb from Jose, and two fried cheese squares with honey. One of the gauchos told me not to use the paper box, so I didn’t even though Fernando wasn’t there, I took nothing home either. Last ate at 8:11, for meds.
