Fogo with Lars, Brenda, Suheily, Clearly, Nikki

Jan. 2, 2023: Today was also amazing. In the morning I wasn’t scheduled but I remembered Fernando had asked me to work so I came in right after my appointment with Ubah. Clocked in at 1:10. I also helped serve the whole morning. Serving will definitely make me happy. I just love it. I helped Nikki in section 1 all morning. I didn’t write down anything from that time but it went really well and she thought I was super helpful and everything. So I did take a photo with her, the one on the right, because I thought that would be the best part of my day. Then the day actually ended with a better thing. Fernando literally gave us all a free drink at the bar at the end of the night, which never happens. I had a white sangria, which Suheily suggested. Suheily had a piña colada, which I tried. Looking at my notes, today I wore my gray Gay 90s shirt because I felt like it would be a good day. It was. The only thing I fucked up on was I dropped a few waters from a tray right in front of Matt. Then later when I was carrying a tray he told me not to drop it, so he had definitely noticed the first one. That sucks because I’d really wanted to be able to say I’d never dropped a tray. Well for this morning there were 191 reservations but that didn’t affect me at all because I was busy helping Nikki serve. Well I did manage to have my meds at 5:01 today, thank God I brought them. I also sat Brenda’s section in gaucho/market. Lars told her to greet the 15 top I sat her to practice greeting big tables. At the end of the night I had an amazing conversation with Lars, Suheily, Clearly, Brenda, Johnny. I asked Johnny how to spell his name too. I learned he’s from Guatemala. I also definitely feel like Fogo is going to be what makes me happy. I told Papa too. Tomorrow I’m hostessing alone, only 80 reservations though. We’ll see how that goes. I definitely won’t be serving. Oh and also Matteus the bartender tonight told me I did a good job and killed it. So that was good to hear. Oh also today Trevor told me he could drive me home from the Fogo party on Sunday. So that is amazing to know. I told Papa that too.
