Fogo with Israel

Oct. 26, 2022: Tonight at work I took a selfie with Israel. I feel like it’s one of the first times I’ve done a picture with just her, though I know I’ve sent her photos she was in before. Tonight wasn’t that busy. There were like 163 reservations. Israel said she liked my shirt, and I told her I had a fantastic Sunday and thanked her for the shift. Olivia was also there but she got sent home at 8:40 because not that many reservations. I did tell El, who was managing, that I might be able to work more if they say I’m not doing the actual work of a hostess. I had a sour lemon candy from Israel, and reached 10k steps around 6:30. I also learned about Sese and Ben, because Sese was the other hostess there. She brought some spicy chips, which we ate, and I also had sprite because Israel said Sprite sounds really good. I also learned that Sese was working on salad bar around the time she met Ben, and in a way she misses being a busser because bussers get tips. Tonight I had kind of a brain injury moment where I thought I’d lost my notes, even told Sese I had, and then realized that they were in Rio on the counter. I didn’t remember being in Rio at all. At least I always remember which rooms are which. I didn’t write this down but I did also tell El thank you for working with me and being so understanding. I’m really happy I said that to him. He said that it’s a joy to have me there.
