Fogo with Isa, Willow, Trevor

Dec. 12, 2022: I told Mike and Greg and Sherry at Sabathani that I saw boxes on the ground at Fogo and felt the urge to break them down because of Sabathani. I’m not even done with Fogo yet, I still have my meeting with Jessica then we’re gonna run over to see the new car then I’m gonna go to Fogo. And it is a good time, I’m at 6,028. Gonna eat McDonald’s first, spicy crispy chicken sandwich. Just wanted to put in the thing about the boxes before I go. Meeting with Jessica now. Ah well, done with Fogo. I had a pretty good night. Didn’t carry any trays the whole night, well maybe one but I didn’t write it down. I talked to a lot of people though. I worked only with Isa tonight, who is new. She actually said she heard about the job from Suheily who goes to her church. Suheily also said we need to hang out and get brunch with Maeve after the holidays. A lot of good things are happening after the holidays. I have to say that tonight really made me miss being able to drive myself home from work. Like the servers stay even later than I did, like Trevor was still clocked in when I left. Also, the vertical photos are from the BeReal I took with Trevor and Willow. My face fucked up in the photo, oh well. Oh I also planned the entire night completely. No other hostesses showed up, no idea where they were. There were 175 reservations. Took my meds at 5:26. I also had some chocolate from Sabathani around 7, well after. I also connected my phone’s hotspot to the work computer because it didn’t have any service. So that was useful. I also talked to Matthias the bartender a bit. Told him about the new car, and that I missed the social scene at Fogo. He said that yeah it’s changed and used to be more social, but that he does wanna hang out some time soon. He also lives in South Minneapolis, I learned. At the end I had bottom sirloin from David and a bunch of stuff from the salad bar because I got off late enough they were taking the salad bar down. Also learned that Suheily got her degree in psychology and is going kind of into real estate. Though we talked about loving Fogo so much we want to leave our other jobs. I also showed Suheily and Matthias the new car. Well what else is in my notes... I told Trevor it was great to hang out and he said we should do it again and soon he’ll only be working weekends because he’s going back to school. I know he told me that before but I’d kind of forgotten it and asked again why only weekends. Glad I told him it was great to hang out with him though, and he even said without prompting that we should hang out again. Clocked in at 6,928 and out at 13,507. Ending at 14,193. Feeling kind of hopeful about the future now.
