Fogo with Hostesses

Oct. 21, 2022: Well today was a fairly good night. I ended the day significantly less depressed than when I started it. And then mid night I said something about being really depressed to Hannah and she said that she had been that depressed too. Then Israel hopped in and told me not to feel that way, that I was a good worker. I also have to admit that I don’t know exactly who everyone in this photo is. On the left is Sisi or Ceecee or however you spell it. The bottom middle is Diane. Israel is on the right doing a peace sign. Hannah is in he way back, I think the girl to the right is Genesis. Maybe Aliera wasn’t there. I’m not sure if I should really write through all my notes. Well the new server with no vest was Willow and tonight Brenda came in and just hung out at the bar. I didn’t write this down but at the beginning of the night

Matt said he liked my colorful shirt. Nicole said she likes my tattoo and I also carried a kind of heavy tray for Nicole, and a light tray with just a wine cup. And also a light tray with one plate for Greyson. Early in the night I told Matt that since I was coming on Monday too I could just stay as late as we needed. So I did leave at the time that he was cutting most of the hostesses. That’s another reason tonight was good. The fraldinha is bottom sirloin, Elizete said. Today I talked to Sophie, the blonde server, about learning her name and joked that I’d ask her her name every day even though I know it. Today Brooke told me to do a better job popcorning tables. At the end of the night I was able to say to Matt that most of the recovery would happen in the first year. He said that I had to get back to being the best hostess, then I could be the best server again. I’m glad he mentioned serving at all. Honestly this was more of a talk with Matt than the actual day I “talked to” him. Felt more satisfying.
