Fogo with Hannah

Oct. 5, 2022: I’m kind of confused today. I lost track of a lot of things, nothing to do with hosting though. It was a hella slow night. First Israel got sent home, then Hannah did at 7. I was able to stay til 8:19, and then Ava closed. I’ve never taken a photo with Ava even though I worked with her a lot. Hannah, Israel, Ava and Amerti were on the schedule. Amerti didn’t show though. El was managing, fortunately. I told him that I could stay til 8:30, but I didn’t end up doing that. I also told him that I wanted to talk to Matt about how I was doing. I was hoping he would suggest we talk right there, but he just told me that Matt will be in tomorrow, which I knew.

I told Ava and Hannah about the fact that I had lived in Phoenix and my birthday is on St. Patrick’s day, randomly. The last reservation was at 8:30, and I wasn’t there for that. Hannah did say that closing yesterday was super easy for her, which I expected. There were about 167 reservations tonight. Slow as hell. I had about 6,000 steps walking in, and ended at 12,013. Now I’m at 12,643, but that isn’t the number I’ll remember. I also learned that Ava had lived in California and Hannah had lived in Chicago. Emily was the server at market table back, and I also ate a bunch of the pumpkin spice yogurt covered pretzels that Hannah had brought and left.

Interestingly I was also able to talk to David and Patrick at the end of the night. I might have been a bit too negative talking to David like I was the other day with someone. Patrick told me not to date an Ecuadorian again. Earlier in the night Ben had asked how I was doing and I said I was doing ok, which was totally true and accurate. I did have one drink, aka a limeade and grenadine with two cherries, as always.
