Fogo with Grayson, Trevor, Asani, Diane, Stella

Dec. 25, 2022: Again I have too many photos. First I have the one I actually planned on being my photo of the day. It was of the best part of my day, which was when I talked to Trevor and Grayson early in the day. Grayson hadn’t known about my accident at all. I also told him that I used to be a server here. Actually I think Trevor said that. At 5000 steps I was carrying a tray for Segundo in Rio. Today I was kind of trying to pay attention to what I was doing at 5, 10, 15, 20. Didn’t get 15 though. Oh also Clearly asked me to bring her a tray of “as many waters as I could carry” and I did. It was only like 6 or so, and I probably could have done more. I also took a photo with Diane and Asani when they were wearing the Christmas hat and bow, I wore the hat the entire night actually, it was from Stella. Some customer commented on it I think. At the end of the night there were about 1430 reservations, and when I clocked in there were 1327. Let’s see what else.... I took my meds at 5:14 with leftover coffee. I also had red bull tonight. I went to buy one and Mattias told me today they were free today. So that was cool. I put a watermelon one in the fridge so I could have it instead of the lukewarm sugarfree ones. Stella also split her yesterday tips with me, since I hadn’t gotten any. So 5$ there. Aka two red bulls. I’m not sure what I got in tips tonight. I think it was under 10$. God I can’t wait til I’m a server. Even though I had a good talk with Trevor tonight and told him that the true thing that’ll make me happy is actually enjoying doing things and getting pleasure out of things again. Like reading. I’m glad I was able to tell him that. What else in my notes... I also changed a bunch of paper towels today. Super fucking unimportant. I did tell Fernando and El when I came in that maybe I didn’t need a break if I was leaving early enough in the day. But I did take a break, only half an hour. On break I spoke Spanish a lot. It was with Diane, Isa, Kevin, and some gaucho Johnny or something. I did tell Kevin I miss going to Ray Js. I also thanked Diane for rescuing me from the concert. So I had some good things happen on break, even if it was less fun than yesterday’s amazing one.
