Fogo with Brenda

Sept. 30, 2022: Well tonight I almost forgot to take a photo for photo of the day, but at the very end after I’d clocked out I did with Brenda. Well tonight the good news is that I carried a very heavy tray from Hasna. She asked if I could handle it and I said I could. The iffy news is that apparently Matt had told Brenda that she was the hostess in charge for the night. I told papa about that, and that it kind of hurt me. I also told Matt about Nov. 17, but I don’t know if he was really paying attention. I also told him I put the request in Hot Schedules, which was good.

Tonight I worked with Ejatu, Israel and Brenda. And I learned that someone was fired. Brenda said it was something like last Tuesday, just for not showing up. So she wasn’t there tonight, obviously. I also took a light tray from the girl server Sam with some pão de queijo dish on it, and a light tray with a small plate from Grayson. I remembered Grayson’s name, and I hadn’t known Sam’s. There was also a piece of pão de queijo on Sam’s tray, and I ate it in the back. I also asked Matt if I should set a table that needed to be bussed, and then I bussed it. It had some glasses on it. There were 375 reservations tonight. I did remember to write that down the second I walked in. So my dream that Matt had told me not to work Friday nights was just a dream. I didn’t tell him about it, though I did tell Brenda about it. Ejatu also ordered Taco Bell, and said the dorito loco was a good dish. Maybe I’ll get that next time I go. Ended the night with 14,477 steps, which I’ll remember.
