Fogo with Brenda

Sept. 20, 2022: Brenda is probably my favorite hostess at Fogo. Worked with her tonight, and took a photo with her because of that. I also carried some trays, including one heavy one from Brooke, whose name I remembered. Leo even saw me carrying a tray and said I should be a server. I’m like, I know. He said something like, “we need you.” I told Brenda a lot, even about some of the stuff with Leo. I’ll look at my notes now. There were about 200 reservations tonight, though I didn’t write it down the second I walked in. I worked with Brenda, Amerti and Barcot. Table 26 is where my family and I sat when we came in. Other random things I wrote down... El said that yoga refreshes the soul. Israel was eating there tonight. I thought that Amerti was sent home at 7, but apparently she wasn’t. Barcot and Amerti are Ethiopian, I confirmed. Barcot was sent home at 7:47, actually. El has been there for 15 years, he said on the phone to someone. I carried one light tray with one plate for Kenny, whose name I remembered. Brenda at the end of the night asked me to grab her food and I gave her one pão de queijo. I ate bottom sirloin and lamb and fried rice tonight, and one piece of pineapple from Leo.
