Fogo with Brandi and Brenda

Oct. 7, 2022: Today at Fogo it was insanely busy. I don’t feel like I did that well. Like if Matt had come to me after tonight and said that he doesn’t think I can work busy nights, I would have understood. But he already did on a night that I thought I did well.

Anyways lemme look at my notes. I didn’t take many because it was so busy all night. We started with about 600 reservations but I told that to Brandi and she said there must have been walk ins because it seemed busier than that. I started with 8,794 steps, and now I’m ending on 19,070. A lot of walking today. I might be sore later. El’s family came in tonight, and sat in Row 5. I also wrote that I made a 4 top in between Rio and Brazil and then sat that 4 top, which was good. We started seating Amazon at 6. I took a light tray with a bread dish from Jorge. I also ate lamb that a different gaucho named Jorge gave me.

I also talked to Leo tonight about my Instagram being hacked. Weird because I could have sworn that he said that he’d deleted all his social media. But we were joking about messaging to ask for one dollar. A different server heard us and thought I was really asking him for a dollar. Tonight there was a new girl named Genesis, which was pronounced like Hennessey. Matt joked that he should call her Cognac because she did a good job. Idk if he thinks I did a good job tonight. I also told Brandi about my photo of the day project. This is basically my journal now. Hannah said she had about 16k steps around the end of the night.
