Fog with Amari and Brenda

Sept. 9, 2022: I had a fantastic night tonight. Let’s look at my notes. This photo was with Amari and Brenda. That I remembered. It was actually so busy tonight that I didn’t write everything down after a while. I worked with Brenda, Gray, Diane, Amiya, Ejatu, Israel and Paulina. Paulina left early though. I learned that the reason Gray was taken away in an ambulance the other day was that she was allergic to pineapple. Well she’s allergic to a lot of things, including nuts, but she thinks it was for pineapple. Not sure though. Unfortunately I had to ask Brenda her name again, even though she’d told me before. There were 384 reservations at the beginning of the night.

Emmanuel noticed my tattoo. I wore the gray shirt in the photo and work pants that weren’t that skinny, and the cuter work shoes and the Love Your Melon socks. I started the night getting about 6k steps, I wrote. Matt and El were both wearing white button up shirts today. I was going to respond to Izaak at 7k steps but I still haven’t done it. I will though. I took one tray with an empty bread container from Brooke, whose name I confirmed. Just asked, “Hey is your name Brooke?” or something, and it was. There was one large party in Gaucho that requested Carlos because she was his cousin. I absolutely would not have remembered that without the notes.

Arlon said that Fogo has about 500 chairs, which I didn’t know before actually. All this was written before we got crazy busy. Valet does accept credit card, I learned. Israel’s real name is Elyssa, and that’s the name in Hot Schedules. I did remember where the one large party was sitting, in Rio. I also learned that Brenda usually drives there and she pays parking individually, not the month thing. I also bussed one tray full of glasses, quite heavy, from Brazil, successfully. Also remembered where Table 26 is, in the back right corner of main, where my family sat when we went. Carried a medium heavy tray with plates for Alex. Also one other, but I didn’t write down who it was for. I also remembered where the Zara party was sat. I did tell Brenda and Amari about the photo of the day project, when I took this selfie. Arlon also knew who I was. He was getting a lot of hostess names and I said, you remember me right, and he said yeah for sure. I wonder what he’d heard. It was a busy night.
