Family Birthday Party

March 19, 2023: Ah ok today we had my family birthday party. It was Jodi, Jodi’s boyfriend Bill, Mom, Talia, Talia’s girlfriend Kenzie, Grandma, Papa. In the first photo here Papa’s not in the photo, and he said, “I’m assumed.” I even wrote that down, though I’m not looking at notes now. The reason I’m putting in the next photo, the middle one, is because in it you can see the blush I put on this morning. This morning I used blush for the first time since the accident, and I used the new eyeliner that I got yesterday. The right photo is the one that actually has Papa in it, it’s of my family shortly before I blew out the candles. Oh god I’m sure I could do most of this day without notes, but screw it I’ll look at the notes now. I have 8 pages, since I’m using a notebook with smaller pages now, the 3 by 5, not the 4 by 6. Ok let’s see the first thing I wrote was that I changed notebooks and put on makeup, including eye shadow and blush. I also changed to a different green shirt than the one I slept in, the one I wore today is more olive toned. I also had my meds at 8am with cheese and crackers with the right amount of fat. When mom came over right away I told her that yesterday was a day of accomplishments. Mom also told me I could wear my new brown boots without socks. I decided to try that but I brought socks anyways. Today I also wore the black leather jacket that I thought was new but it turns out it’s old, before the accident. Also since Kenzie works in the Bloomington Trader Joe’s now, I asked her some questions about it because I was considering working at one some time. I learned that they’re big on the “customer experience,” and sometimes have the employees just wander around the store asking if people need help. I also learned they generally close at 9 and you sometimes work in the wine shop and have to know the product. Funny enough this morning we also learned that Talia had forgot her phone at the Guthrie, had to drive back there to get it. Of course I joked to her that it must be her traumatic brain injury. After Talia picked up her phone I also told her that I was wearing my new eyeliner, which I totally do not remember saying, but I wrote it down so I’m assuming it’s true. Oh I also found my ASU ID today, which Papa had and still has, and finding it was also on my Any.Do. Now I just need to find the Mountain Dew hat from the State Fair with Hannah. I loved that hat and no one knows where it is. So what we also did after eating and Talia went to work is we played a full game of Oh Heck, all the way down to one card dealt and up to 7 again. Around that time mom also read my photo of the day from yesterday and agreed that Liam is a good friend. The other thing I did around then was I backed up my whole computer and got the show, The Fall and Rise of Reginald Perrin, which I liked the other day a lot. After breakfast/lunch I went back to my house with mom and sorted through a bunch of my clothes. We compiled a whole big paper bag of clothes to give away, and we also organized my drawers a bit. Didn’t finish, instead I went to a yoga class with Jodi and Bill. That was good, and I learned that the instructor Lisa teaches it at that time every Sunday. At the end of the yoga class I had my meds early, sorry mom, at 6pm. Then I was good to eat by 7pm, which is what I did. We had a sausage and pepperoni pizza and also a salad thing. What I did when they were getting it ready and I was waiting to be able to eat was I actually got gas, because I had an incredibly busy day the next day and I was at like half a tank. Also learned that half a tank is like 18$ for my car, though I had to pay inside and asked for 25$. The person at the station said the extra money would go back onto my card. It hasn’t yet, but I’m expecting it to. Ah well I also told Jodi the 10mg fat Keto bars were incredibly helpful, since I had just pulled one of those out of my purse to have my meds. She said she’d give me more, though she hasn’t yet. Ah well, I had a decent day.
