Eyebrows, painting with mom

September 24, 2023:

Ok, today I didn’t do any of this in the middle of the day. Ok, starting at like 10pm. I woke up and took my meds at 7:01am with a mango 6g yogurt and small glass of oat milk. I also realized a few hours later, when I woke up again after dozing, that I had actually took the night meds out of the box instead of the morning ones. So I’d accidentally taken melatonin at 7am. Then, I had unsurprisingly gone back to sleep for a few hours. Also cool to know because I’d been wondering if melatonin really affected me at all, and apparently it does. Anyways, after going back and taking the antidepressant, which was in the morning pill container too, I texted Suheily about us having lunch tomorrow, just to make sure that she had it on her calendar this time. Then, mom came by and she picked me up and took me back to my house, where we got some stuff done. We got all my laundry together, I did my photo of the day for the 23rd, I printed all of my photos of the day and put them in the binder, and I also sent a message to Dr. Flanagan’s team on the Mayo portal to confirm that the appointment on Wednesday was on video, not in person. Then, we stopped by my dad’s house again to start my laundry, and then mom took me back to her place. There, the first thing we did was we dyed my eyebrows darker, which I have photos of happening. After that, I decided to read some more Twilight. I’ve gotten to about the middle of the book now, which is longer than I remembered it being. After reading, we decided to try to paint again. This time, I actually had ideas of stuff to do, and didn’t paint a misshapen red star. My idea was actually to do silhouettes of trees in front of a lake, but it actually turned out to be a painting where I purposely included things that didn’t “work,” like the snakes in the trees and moon, and the little shrubs in the black water. Oh, and the green moon and orange trees, of course. I think there’s also an attempt at snake tongues coming out from the bottom branch on the tree on the right too. Anyways, then mom and I had some dinner, which was pepperoni pizza, which I didn’t take my meds with. I wasn’t that hungry, so I only had two of the small square slices. Then, we watched Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, which I’d never seen before.

A bit later, she took me back to my dad's house, where I had my night meds at 8:01pm with two cheese sticks.

Grateful things: Grateful I was able to take a hot shower tonight, which I couldn't do for a while because of the surgery.
