Dawn, Mike, Jodi, Bill, Bob and Izaak

April 2, 2023: Damn it I didn’t do my photo of the day yesterday at all. Just decided I was kind of tired again I think, though I didn’t write down why I didn’t do it. Had a pretty good day though. At the beginning of the day I decided to start a new notebook, not because it was done or had lost it, the old one was just getting kind of ratty. I had my meds at 5:45am with cheese and crackers. Then well after the two hours to have other food, I had two eggs just because I was hungry. Then Mom came over and we had an argument about my independence, which wasn’t ideal. I also had my medication at 12pm exactly. Then I went over to Jodi and Bill’s. I had caffeine coffee, which they usually don’t have because Bill likes decaf. I also had some of the coconut twister cookies, which were good with the coffee. I also remembered that Liam had said the day before yesterday to email Ignasi’s dad Toni about Spanish options. So I did that today, and even messaged Liam a picture of the email. I also told Jodi and Bill about looking for translator work and Jodi suggested a church that’s right by my house that has a food shelf that needs translators. I already emailed the woman from there about the options. She said she’d call me today. Don’t know when yet though. I also chatted in Spanish with this random guy who speaks Spanish a bit named José and sent him a pic of my new and edited resume, which includes some of my Spanish experiences. Then Jodi, Bill and I drove over to their second cousin or something’s house to have lunch/dinner. I’m not even sure how they’re related to us, or even how they’re related to each other. It was cool though. When I first walked in they said something about a snake and I showed them my snake tattoo and necklace. I also totally managed to have my night meds with about 15-20g of fat without eating an extra bar or anything. I just had a small portion of their dinner and estimated it was 15-20g of fat. I had my meds at 4:38, maybe like two minutes early but oh well. Jodi said that two minutes early was better than two hours early for sure. Then for the dessert I waited til two hours after I’d had the meds before having a slice of their carrot cake with pistachio frosting. I also took a bunch of the cake home. Oh before we left we also played a card game called left, right, center, where you have quarters and push them into the middle, left, or right depending on how you roll the dice. It’s a game they said is more fun if you play with alcohol and real money, not just quarters. We didn’t do that lol. I won the first round, Mike won the second, and Dawn won the third. I also showed Dawn my yearbook that Papa had sent me a pdf of. She said it was a really cool project, and I said I was thankful to my friend for suggesting it. Ah well, the other things I have notes of was that today I accidentally brought my coffee cup with a broken lid, and told Jodi about it. Thank God I have notes. Oh and then after I went home I actually decided to drive over to Izaak’s house and watch a movie with him. It was about the founding of McDonalds, and based on some googling it was called The Founder. I wasn’t sure I’d put this in, but I took a photo with him too and also showed him the yearbook pdf. I literally took no notes during our whole conversation. I told him about leaving Fogo and Lunds though, and he said that he’s considering leaving or at least shifting something at his job too. God it’s so dumb that I can’t remember exactly what he said. I hate the brain injury. Also dumb that I didn’t do this last night because I’d have remembered more. Just texted Izaak to ask him too and he told me about passing the test, which I even told him I’d forgotten.
