Canasta with Jodi and Hannah at Bull’s Horn

March 2, 2023: Well yesterday I lost my notebook for a bit but I’ve got it now so I’m doing my photo of the day. Starting with my notes, I had my meds at 7:28 yesterday morning. Then I ran to Oxendales and grabbed eggs. For breakfast I had strawberry yogurt and blueberry special K and toast with Havarti cheese. Then I was on the way to the gym when I got Jodi’s message that she wanted me to come over and teach her Canasta. So I went there instead. Jodi also said it was beginners luck when she won at Canasta, 955 to 206. Another hand and I actually won, 2680 to 1760. I was also confused whether I should eat because of my meds, but we decided I had time. So I had the world’s greateset chicken casserole from the “Magnuson kitchen.” She said Bill doesn’t like this casserole because it’s too creamy. I thought it was good. I also told Jodi I always get the names of the food I eat for my photo journal. I also had guava goddesss kombucha. I late ate at 1:32, for my meds, so I set my clock for 3:32. I also played a few hands of Phase 10 on the phone with Jodi. I didn’t actually take my meds at 3:32 because I was driving back from the gym and didn’t have them. I also went to the gym and asked Will a few questions about the workout he’d added. He said that the step ups should be stepping forward and I should use 7.5s or 10lbs. Then I went home and immediately had my meds, and texted Hannah that 6:30 was a good time because I would be good to eat by 5:52 since I had my meds at 4:52. I also ran back to Papa’s and dropped off my social security card and grabbed my light blue shoes that had been left there. I also managed to drop my purple notebook with all my notes in the entry way, and only picked it up today. So what I did was I actually started a new notebook, a yellow one, and took my notes from being with Hannah there. We went to Bull’s Horn and actually walked there from my house. I also had a good session with Whitney yesterday where I read her all my photos of the day. She said that no one else does this proejct. I also said that this project is the main way I cope with the TBI. Yesterday I also marked a bunch of stuff off my AnyDo, like bringing the social card to Papa’s house and putting bandaids in my gym bag. Then Hannah and I walked over to Bull’s Horn. She asked why I was bringing my coffee, so I left it at home. I also told Hannah that I’d told Whitney the photo of the day project was my main coping skill. We also talked a bit about knowing your friends’ middle initials since Liam had made me that playlist called 4 AKM. We also played a lot of Canasta, using a Canasta deck that Hannah had. That one lists all the scores of cards on the cards. I also had the mushroom melt with a beef patty and chips, and the Sweetland Orchard cherry rubarb cider, since they didn’t have any sours. Hannah had fried chicken with coleslaw. I told her I didn’t like coleslaw. She asked if I’d choose her or Jodi for the photo of the day and I said I’d choose both. She also asked me to find something to do in the botanical garden in Florida, when she spends a lotta time there. She also showed me some of the new swimsuits she got for Florida. We also played a lotta Canasta and Hannah won. Turns out that the game ends when there are no more cards to draw and the red Canasta is better than the black Canasta. That’s just what I wrote down. After walking home I shockingly did get 10k yesterday, actually 10,033. Good end to a good day.
