I’ll just do a run through the photos today. In the day, I ran to Target to get everything that was on the grocery list, and also get some more unflavored Miralax. Afterwards, I popped into a tea cafe, which is where I took my BeReal. Afterwards, I had a meeting with Mikayla from Accord, and we talked about possibly restarting my services. I’ve been thinking about possibly looking for some extremely part time work, and keeping my disability benefits at the same time. Today I told her that I was loosening up on my requirements that the job would have to include Spanish. We met at Backstory, the same place we last met, which she liked. At night, I went to the Spanish meetup which always happens on Monday nights. I admit that during the meetup, I was thinking that I might want to wait to attend more of these until I’m a little bit less depressed, because I wasn’t even capable of talking about shows or meals that I liked, since I don’t like anything currently. In addition, it’s not very enjoyable to meet new people when you’re suffering from such a bad period of depression. The one person I was talking to at the end was the one actual connection I made. I explained about this blog and the purpose of it coming out of a TBI, or un daño cerebral in Spanish. The one success of my night is that I spoke Spanish most of the night. The only problem is that it was kind starting to occur to me that placing such a large emphasis on the language of Spanish might doom me to some failure because most hispanohablantes could never understand having too little work to do and too much time to do it in. And surrounding myself with people who need money like the people I help at the food shelves might just rub my dissatisfaction in my face too much. The one good photos I got was with this guy Phil who I was talking to. Like me, he also has a website for his photography, and the website is just hisname.org like mine is myname.com.
