Blood test and Photos at Cheers for Children for Cornerhouse

Updated: Apr 21, 2024

April 18, 2024

OK I cannot believe that I failed to write this one on the 18th because the 18th was a FANTASTIC day for me. I volunteered to take photos for the Cornerhouse Event Cheers for Children, and I also got a random blood test, because it seems like I’ll definitely never be able to forget that I have cancer and stuff. The other photo I have here is of the name tag of a girl I ran into at the event I was shooting, and I talked to about her tattoos and I showed her mine. She had a lot, and I’ve got more photos of her whole body and arms with the tattoos somewhere in my actual set of photos I’ll be sending them, which I have not been able to finish editing yet. In a way, I enjoy doing my editing so much that I don’t even want to get them finished particularly quickly. My other photo here is of a free sample of a spicy meatball thing, and then I've got a phone photo of the moderator of the event, whose name was Kevin. I also talked to Kevin about journalism a bit. I told him my mom was also an ex-journalist, just like me. He obviously knew of Arizona State, and its journalism program.
