BeReals and Talia at Mom’s pool

June 17, 2023: Ok writing ahead of time yet again. Well first things first, I took my meds at 6:15am with some 11g fat yogurt that Papa had bought me. I also ate some cereal after 8:15am, some of the Special K that Jodi had given me for my birthday, I think. I texted Talia to ask her who gave me the socks I was wearing, and they were from her. I also texted Mom to check if we were doing the shopping trip before her brunch with Talia today. We were doing it before. Then mom came over, and we actually decided to not go to Trader Joe’s because I already had a lot of the frozen meals you can only get there. Instead, we decided to go to Cub, which is close too. I drove us there in my car. There, we got like $50 worth of stuff I needed, including oat milk and extra toiletries and smoked salmon and yogurt, and she also got some smoked salmon and something else too. Then we went back to my house and got a little more done, including texting Caroline to ask if she was free tonight (which she wasn’t) but then Caroline did ask me about doing something the night of the 23rd. So we have a plan then now. Then mom went to meet up for lunch with Talia, and I entered a very productive period of time for me. Clearly the most important piece of my day was that I took my BeReal exactly on time at the coffee table while I was drinking coffee. That means I’ve got two more free ones to use tonight. I also wrote part of yesterday’s photo of the day, wrote Papa a Father’s Day card for tomorrow, and worked on my Any.Do list a ton, including putting the extra nail clippers back in my car, which had gone missing a day or two ago. I also drank two cups of coffee that I made at home, and then through texting mom, I figured out that I should take my meds well before I go over to her house so I can eat anything for dinner. So what I did was I took them a little early, at 3pm with two pepper jack cheese sticks for 12g of fat. The pepper jack cheese sticks were another thing we bought today at Cub, and I texted mom that I liked them as soon as I ate one of them. Now I’m gonna read a bit of the mystery book for book club, which this session actually will be The Investigator. So literally today I was about to put in a picture of the socks that I sent to Talia, because I was asking her who they came from. But then I ended up getting a TON more photos, so no socks photo then. Basically today was the best day ever to get my BeReal on time while I was at home, because I took the next two extra ones when I was over at mom’s, one in the hot tub alone and one with the pizza we ordered. We ordered the same one that we loved the other day, and Talia didn’t believe me when I said that it wasn’t spicy because she thinks I have unlimited spice tolerance, so she ordered a sandwich too. And then it was really good that we’d gotten the large pizza, because we actually ate all of it, even though we thought there’d be leftovers. I mean, mainly I ate all of it, because my mom only had a couple pieces and Talia just had like two or something. We also talked about tattoos a bit, since mom just got hers, which is why she couldn't swim, and Talia is interested in getting something on her left hip. We also talked about mine, and I kind of decided I would like a snake wrapped around my left leg maybe somewhere on the calf, because the thigh is too big and the ankle is too small. So yeah, I’m trying to at least schedule a consultation with Sara Legel. Hopefully that’ll help me figure out some more facts about the tattoo, like what style it’ll be in and how dark and big it will be. Next day. Already kind of decided with mom and Talia that it should be on the calf, at least. At the pool I also read a tiny bit of The Investigator, the next book club book. Couldn’t really get into it again. Oh and I should also mention I had a great conversation with Talia when I was driving her over to mom’s. A little bit less good on the way back, but that was a high bar to meet. Oh and I randomly just remembered after I finished this, that I’d been texting Alex C. about trivia, and he’s at a cabin, and I told him my mom had a pool and we were going there instead, and he told me that he’d “let me take him to my mom’s pool this July.” I even asked mom if that would be doable, and she said it was. And then Alex also said that we could even try to do a tit for tat, and he could take my to his pool club place too. So that could be really cool, and I can’t believe I almost forgot to add it.
