Bella at Chimborazo and everyone at trivia

April 8, 2023: Took my morning meds at 6:46am with four slices of cheese for 11g fat. Then over two hours later I also had some cereal. Then mom came over and we edited my resume and sorted out some password stuff and added on some certificates to my resume I’d gotten in Spanish before the accident. We also explored some translation certification options and fixed a problem with my messaging from iCloud. Then what I did was I went to meet Bella at Chimborazo for lunch. What we did was we shared some yucca fries and I got the llapingachos con chorizo. It’s funny I even told Bella that I kinda wished I’d gotten the churrasco, which is what I usually get. I was trying something new, and I think I would have liked the churrasco more. I also told her all about doing passwords with my mom. Bella said that she was going to go to the rapper Future’s concert that night but it was cancelled. I also told her about my goal to only spend $500 a month, and what had happened at Lunds. She also said that Liza is coming into town around the end of May and we should hang out. We also talked about where we live, and it turns out that she lives like four minutes from me in South Minneapolis. I told her I could almost walk over. I’m glad that I took a vertical picture of us too, not just the horizontal one, so I can put both in here. I offered to drive her home since it’s so close, but her boyfriend Jordan was able to pick her up. She also suggested maybe trying working at a different grocery store. I also showed her the pdf I had of my yearbook, and even told her about CRP. I said that my goal was eventually to find a job that pays good health insurance too. She also told me that she’s hoping to train as a doula soon, and now she works for the department of education. I also asked her about what my next tattoo should be, and she showed me hers. While we were talking I kind of decided that I’d like my next tattoo to be in Spanish. Honestly what I’d like is to go to the same woman who I had the appointment with before the accident that I missed. Maybe I could do it when I get a job that speaks Spanish too. Bella said she gets hers at Neighborhood Tattoo, and she has an appointment to get a deer with wings soon. She told me to look at Pinterest for tattoo ideas. I also showed her the printout of my resume that I still had in my fanny pack. She asked what I’d do at home and I told her work on the yearbook, which I did, I just wrote the first few lines of this then. When I went home after that I randomly asked a guy in the garage how much the garage costs, and it’s $40 a month for him. Then I texted Liam and he said I could come over at 3:07, which was earlier than I’d thought. So what I did was I drove over to his house, and I realized also it had been enough time since I last ate so I had my meds at 3:44 with a bar that I had in his entryway. Then I walked to the brewery, where he and Lily were stuffing Easter eggs with jelly beans for Liam’s job for an Easter egg hunt Sunday. I also showed Liam the printout I had of my edited resume that I’d done with mom, and said I’d moved the translator volunteer thing to the top and found the TEFL certification on LinkedIn. Also talked a bit about my goals for living with someone, and Liam suggested that I look for a group living situation. We also ate food, two hours after my meds. The alarm for that rang when we were in line for picking up the food. What I had was a buffalo chicken quesadilla from Smug Pug food truck. Then I got my beers, and what I actuallly did was I got a flight of small glasses, so I could try a bunch of different beers without drinking too much. The four that I had were the Tart Cherry Sour, Roasted Coffee Ale, O-Mango Ale and Parched Lime Shandy. I was trying to decide which one I liked best, but it was hard. Maybe the cherry sour, maybe the lime shandy. Screw it I’ve put a picture of the beers with the names written down next to them in here too. Liam and I also walked back to his house to drop some stuff off and I talked to him quite a bit. I even told him something like, “Thanks for being my friend even though I’m really jealous of you.” Wrote that statement down so I know it. In the photo it was was Mattie, Ezra, Ezra’s dad Josh, Liam, Lily, Alex, Liam’s friend Gian Carlo and then Liam’s friend Gyasi, who took the photo, and whose name is pronounced Jazzy. I was kinda wondering if Gian Carlo spoke Spanish, especially when he said something about lunes, but I didn’t get to ask. We had also taken a different photo when me and Lily, Liam and Alex were sitting out side eating, but it was kinda blown out and this one has more people anyways. Then the two Sams came by later too. I told Sam J. that he missed my photo and I was kinda pissed about that because we had had a really good conversation the other week, but he said we can do it again some time in the future. Well, for trivia the host wasn’t Ira this week, it was a woman named Ida. She asked us what playlist to listen to, and I said the one with Green Day on it. So that’s what we listened to, and for trivia we did not do well like last week, we actually got 5th place. Ah well, we also talked to the guy MJ, who’s from the team who always wins, and I remembered his name. There weren’t any questions I really knew, I just confirmed that the capital of Arizona is Phoenix, but I’m not even sure what that was for. What we did then was we walked back to Liam’s house and hung out with everyone. It was a pretty good night.
