Alright, today I did several things. First of all, I took my meds at 8am with half an avocado. Then, I completed my therapy session with Jessica. She convinced me that not telling someone everything isn’t lying my definition. We decided that there is just no need to communicate whatever is on my mind to whoever I am talking to.
After that, I went to my personal training session with Kevin at the gym. Today it really felt like he was just testing where I was at with a ton of stuff. There was one exercise that I noted was exactly the same as something I’d already been asked to do in physical therapy.
After that, I went home and ate a piece of pita for lunch. Around that time I also messaged Bernie about when I could possibly work out with him at the gym, since so much of my time is getting filled up with my volunteer jobs. I’ve also decided that filling my schedule with volunteer work could really be my solution. I’m excited to start two new ones next week, on Wednesday the 21st at Neighborhood House, and also a volunteer orientation with VEAP [volunteers enlisted to assist people] on the 22nd.
After lunch was done, I also ran to Walgreens to pick out a pair of tweezers that I had lost, that were very useful for eyebrow plucking. Ok, that's what I wrote last night. The truth is that I had my meds kinda early so I'd be able to go out with people after the Spanish meetup. I did that, with meds a little after four, and then at the meetup I had a great time talking to a Venezuelan guy named Victor and a Mexican lady named Aracely. I told them about the blog too, and showed them the article about me I'm translating into Spanish. It was good I had a picture of one of the pages of it. We ate at a restaurant called React, and the background photo is of our time at Mojo coffee in Northeast. Oh, and Aracely made a comment about how she'd like to make some more female friends too.
