Barre with Elizabeth, Pilates with Emma, Larisa at Theatre

April 19, 2023: Ok I’m doing the thing again where I write a lot of my photo ahead of time. Well today I had my morning meds at 5am exactly with four slices of cheese for 11g of fat. After 7am, so more than two hours later, I also had some Special K because I was hungry. I decided to go to the gym a bit early, leaving my house around 8:40am. And the class wasn’t til 10am. I did a lot of Will’s workout before my class. Basically I did the whole first workout and also the part with the abduction adduction. My alarm rang to leave for the gym to go to barre while I was doing a pull up thing. I also saw a class that had a sign that said HIIT and I asked a random trainer about it. He said it’s high intensity interval training. Then I took pictures of all my pages of notes and put them into Adobe Scan, and I realized that this purple one is basically my April notebook, because I started it on April 1 or 2, and now I’m gonna finish it today on the 19th. Writing double sided too, finally. Well at training Elizabeth was subbing for Debbie again. I asked if Debbie was dead and she said no, it was a planned absence. The training was good, and I didn’t have to explain anything when I took a picture with her because I’d done it last week too. I also looked at my photo from last week to figure out how old she was again. It was 27. After class I asked Elizabeth if when she’s not subbing if she’s still a barre yoga instructor. She is. The other thing that happened after the class was I met with the Pilates instructor Emma, who had offered to show me the machines in a week last week when I asked about them. I told Emma about the injury and said my left side was hurt worse than my right. She basically walked me through how to use the machines in the pilates room, which was right next to the barre room. I also asked about what you actually do when you walk into a pilates class, and she said you set the height on the reformer machine and get any balls, straps, etc. She also told me that the machine pilates classes cost $25 each, which could of course be paid out of my insurance money. Emma said she’d send me an email about how to sign up for classes in the future. I did also tell Emma that I wanted to get my dad’s by 12pm (so I could take my medication) and I barely did it. I actually got there and meds at 12:03pm not 12pm exactly. Then Papa and I ordered Chinese food. I actually did the calling and the food we got was from Bill’s Garden. I added on the spicy hot wings and shrimp chow mein, which were really good. I noticed that I last ate at 1pm for my meds. Then at 2pm I met with Dr. Rohe on video. He talked a lot about job options with me. He said that the co op was a good idea and co ops might tend to treat employees better than other stores too. The other interesting thing was that he told me speech pathologist is basically a speech therapist. Also told me to reach out to Sam about teaching little kids. Then after the meeting Papa told me that I didn’t actually like working with kids and should have told him that. Ah well, I do think that teaching Spanish immersion to kids would be cool, which was another option Dr. Rohe suggested. Oh and thank God I did the first half of this beforehand because I didn’t do the end of the day or finish it. What I did near the end was I had my pills at 4pm with half an avocado. My last pic is with Larisa from Theatre in the Round in the parking lot after she walked me back. I shot the show and it was pretty good. The show was called True West. It was taught by a guy named Duck and I asked him if that was his real name. It’s not, his real name is Derrick. So I told him I had a friend whose cats were named Duck and Goose and he told me that he named all of his pets the names of other animals, like a fish called Tortoise. Larisa had also given me the ticket to make my parking $5 when I got there. Then after the show she walked back with me. The other interesting thing was that their show had a ton of toasters and I asked about them and they said they actually did a collection of 80s style toasters. I also asked if they ever performed Shakespeare and said the last show I shot before the accident was Hamlet, which I found the other day. They said they do sometimes do Shakespeare but not this season. Oh well, I think I’m pretty done. When I was leaving I tried to get gas and had already asked if there was one close. Then I just put gas into Google Maps and tried to go to a Holiday, but the thing happened where they asked me to pay inside not at the pump, and the station was closed. There were literally two of us standing outside saying we had to get in to pay for gas. So I didn’t end up getting gas. I considered trying at the one by my house, but decided to save it for tomorrow. I still have over a quarter tank anyways. So anyways, that was the end of my night. When I got home I was super excited to eat the leftover Chinese food, because I was actually a bit hungry during the show. I downloaded the photos too, but I haven’t finished editing yet.
