June 25, 2023: No idea what I’m going to do today. I just woke up at Liam’s house having slept on the couches with Alex, and then I organized myself a bit. I also took my meds at 5:01am with some oat milk that Liam had. I wasn’t able to measure it, but I had a full coffee cup-full which looked like it was almost 2 cups, so 10g of fat since it said 1 cup was 5g in the kind he had. I didn’t even have to eat my snack that I’d brought, which is good because it was a crushed up granola bar thing from Open Door that didn’t look too good. So this morning, I didn’t even really talk to Liam, I just popped my head into his room when I was about the leave and I told him that I was heading out, so don’t freak out if you wake up and I’m not here. Then I drove home.
At home, I decided to finish my makeup, take my selfie of the day, and make some more coffee. Fortunately I’d left my coffee thermos in my car yesterday, so I could drink it on the way home and I didn’t end up losing my cup either. Oh and I just randomly remembered looking at my photo from yesterday that Cas was using a fanny pack yesterday too, and he had said his that his fanny pack was basically like his wallet. I can relate.
Oh and it looks like today, Papa is gonna come over and we’re gonna get bagels and go to Jodi’s house. She’s probably still asleep, but by the time we get that done they should be alive. Alright so a lot has happened. We had breakfast/lunch at Jodi’s house with Papa and Bill too. Basically Papa and I ran to Asa’s Bagels and picked up some bialys, everything bagels, and salt bagels, which I asked for and which were my favorite. What we did was we ate the bagels with cheese spread and smoked salmon. It was technically a “breakfast,” but since we ate it so late in the day, it was actually my early lunch too.
Then Bill left to do something with work, and Papa, Jodi and I played a full game of Canasta, which I won massively. What happened is we did the 3-person thing where the person who picks up the pile has the other two team up against them. Part of the reason I won was because I almost never picked up the pile first, even though I usually love picking up the pile. We also learned that the score you try to reach with three people is 7500 not 5000, and you deal 13 cards not 15. So now I know 3-person Canasta a little better than Hannah does, since I asked her some stuff and she had said she didn’t really know. But I read the rules and Google’d stuff, so I know now.
Honestly what happened then is my dad read me a chapter or two of the book that I’m trying to read for my mystery book club, The Investigator. I’m glad we got more of that done, because now we’re basically a little less than halfway through and I’ve still got a few weeks left. It’s an insanely confusing book and it’s incredibly useful that we give summaries of the chapters when we finish and start them. So Papa just read some of it out loud to me when we were still sitting in Jodi’s porch.
Around that time I also got a text that my dinner plan tonight at Dominguez was actually gonna be cancelled, so now I’m not doing anything for dinner, so I’ll succeed in having my night meds at exactly 5:01pm, just like my morning ones. Now I’m just on the Kelly family Zoom call and I just told people about what might happen with the Spanish job soon. I also asked Bailey about the time she called Caroline recently, and she said that talking to her was very useful. So I started dinner during the end of the family Zoom call. What I did was I left the call for a few minutes to run back to my house and grabbed the food that was exactly 14g of fat, and also a full meal. Jodi said she had some salmon too, but I said that I wanted to eat my meds food as a full dinner, so I ran back to get the food. I also smartly grabbed the 0g-fat hot mango chutney, so that was a nice dinner. I also took the night meds at exactly 5:01pm, just like this morning.
Then afterwards Bill asked me if this meant that I wouldn’t be interested in the dinner that they’re making, since I had one already. I told him that I could have a little bit of it as long it’s past 7:01pm, so we’ll see whether that happens. Good thing I’ve at least written most of this by now. So past 7:30pm, I ended up also eating a burrito and cream cheese with guac that Bill made us. As I told him and Jodi, I believe the burrito-meal was better than my medication-meal of Indian food, even though that was good too. So today I ate no lunch and two dinners, congrats Anya.
We’re gonna watch some TV now. We also ended the night with a dulce de leche gelato bar with 8g of fat, not that I’m taking my meds with it so the fat count doesn’t matter. Just interesting to know. Also, the things we ended up watching were the movie Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid and also some of The Graduate, though we didn’t finish it. Bill said we could re-watch a little bit of it when we get around to finishing it, eventually. So today was an alright day, even though I had less than nothing planned. God bless Jodi and Bill and Papa.
