Fogo

July 27, 2022: These are photos from Fogo tonight. Some of the kitchen, like I wanted to do before, and one of the map of table numbers. I’ll definitely try to memorize more of them now. The other big news is that Fernando told us that he wants to pay me for the two days I’ve shadowed this week. He told me that before, but I didn’t tell Papa til Fernando told him that. I don’t have a photo of Fernando unfortunately, but I do have some of the kitchen and whatever that guy’s name is who is the cook.

I worked with Israel and Ava today as hostesses. I really think that some time soon when I’m working as a hostess I can ask to shadow a server. I really do think I’ll be able to do it too. I’m not sure what else to say, but I love it there and am so happy I might be getting paid. I even carried stuff to the kitchen a few times, once just clearing a table that no one asked me to, and once taking food from a server at a table I was seating and giving to her. I also and answered the phone to make reservations, which was the other thing on my to do list.
