Nails the volunteer did, and wondering the halls of the 6th floor at Mayo

To start off with, I couldn’t eat a regular breakfast because of the coming bone marrow biopsy I was going to have. Instead, I had my morning cancer medication with a little bit of olive oil, which doesn’t violate their “NPO” restrictions.

I also had an early morning CT scan of head ... that’s  what created the funny picture of me with my eyes covered and wearing a mask.

A volunteer high school student stopped in and painted my fingernails, which I wasn’t expecting at all. I chose two colors, because I couldn't just pick one, and they're a lighter purple and a darker one on different fingers.

I also finally had that bone marrow biopsy today ... it was in room and I was sedated, and therefore I don’t remember it, after the point at which they stuck some pads onto various parts of my body.

After the bone marrow biopsy, I ordered a breakfast/lunch meal, which was a chicken/taco salad. I didn’t really eat it, instead eating some green jello, pudding, and a bit of a cornbread muffin, which I also just had to ask my mom to remind me of.

I’m still waiting for more tests and input from neurosurgery. At the end of the day I’m watching a TV show and planning on going to bed soon. My dinner was vegetable lasagna, though I got half the fat content I needed for meds from the little brownie muffin it I ordered with it.

I also popped off to “The family room” with mom for a few hours, and we broke this puzzle and tried to put it back together, which led to a few photos. Also, this was the last day I spent at Mayo in this session of hospitalizations.

To be clear, the photo at the bottom is the one I initially had and published. I've added a little here.
