12.17.24 Mayo Clinic excitement plus walk

To start with, I had pancakes with bananas for breakfast. Then, had to fast for my PET scan, which I kind of should have been doing since the night before.

Mom and I played Canasta in the morning. I won the first hand, and we didn’t continue the game any more.

I also had my breakfast with my meds with pancakes and bananas, even though I was going to have a PET scan later on.

Then, at least four and maybe as many as six different people tried to give me a working IV, since the one I had, that the PET scan had used, wasn’t giving blood return any more.

I had my PET scan at around 1pm, and I listened to Miguel’s “Miguel 😍Cancion” playlist the whole time. In the afternoon/night I also watched some of the movie “Cruella," and I took a shower with the help of this one PCA who was there, whose name I cannot recall.

At night, I went for a for a walk, and took pictures in front of every tree and wreath, mainly because the only one I had from the day was my morning selfie with mom, around when we played a hand of Canasta at 11:17 am.

For dinner, I’m going to have some taco salad with shrimp, and sweet potato on the side.
