JUNE 27, 2024!
Ok, last month was memorial day, when Miguel came over and played games with my family, including my grandma, who he had talked to a lot. The interesting thing is that I’m currently in a situation where I’m not allowed to drive at all, maybe because of my leg/foot issues. I have NO idea how I’d be able to survive this session of my life if I didn’t have a boyfriend who can drive too! It’s funny... when I was first seeing Miguel, I pretty much had to pick him up every day, and now it’s the total OPPOSITE! However, I think I still have the path to his house memorized, and I’ve stopped thinking of it as the “way to Liam’s house” now. though they still live ten minutes from each other! I’m just starting to write this way in advance, before anything has even happened today... I’m gonna meet up with Leanne for speech therapy at 11am, and then immediately afterward, I’m meeting up with Bernie for lunch at a place that is literally blocks from my dad’s house, the Hamburguesas El Gordo. I sent Bernie the menu yesterday, and he loved it and said “pretty much everything on that menu sounds great!” Oh God, I also just had to re-download Photoshop again, since my Creative Cloud access didn’t seem to be working right. I’ve always had InDesign on my computer, and I’m using it right now to write this, but I don’t know what happened to my Photoshop access! I’ll save what I have written here to a draft on the blog site, “Wix”! Funny story, THAT site is ALSO what allows me to spell check everything I write much more thoroughly than my computer does it! Today I’m gonna have therapy with Leanne the speech therapist in like half an hour, and then I’ll meet up with Bernie for lunch a few blocks from my house. I think he’ll come here and drive me there too! WAIT that didn’t happen! Instead, Miguel stopped by my house at 11am, and he drove me to Hamburguesas el Gordo. Then, the two/three of us had a wonderful lunch with Bernie. My burger had pineapple, which Bernie said was not meant to be there! I disagree very strongly, and that was actually the reason I ordered the “Hawaiian burger” combo.
