050524: FUN: First swim, Spanish book and Heidi Insta post

First swim, Heidi Insta post, El Ley de Herodes

Alright, in this one, mom and I travelled to Florida! We left quite early in the morning. I didn’t take a lot of notes on the trip. I just wrote down that one flight attendant thanked my mom, “Mrs. Kelly” for being a frequent flyer. I wrote that down because there really is no “Mrs. Kelly,” since she didn’t take my dad’s last name. I also wrote down... “Al menos la próxima vez que vuelo, lo haré con mi hermanita.” And THAT is all that I wrote about this day for a while... now it’s mid-day on the 6th and I’m realizing that I never quite finished this. Well, let’s see what I did yesterday! I went out on my “first swim” at the condo, where I wore the purple swimsuit that I had bought last year and that I like a lot..... and I also posted a picture of me and Heidi hanging out on the day that I was supposed to get a pedicure, and didn’t in the end. We had a fun time anyways <3. And then finally, I’ve got a picture of the Spanish book that I’m reading for my book club. It’s called "El Ley de Herodes,” and I feel like I’m gonna need a lot of help actually understanding it.... for the book club and all. I’ll definitely show it to Miguel when I’m back in Minnesota. Currently, I’m just writing in all the vocabulary that I don’t automatically know into the book. For example, “una etapa negra,” apparently means “a black staple,” which I didn’t know off the top of my head at all. For photos, I’ve got a picture of me accomplishing my “first swim” in their pool, a screenshot of the Instagram post I made of Heidi today, and a picture of my Spanish book club book with many words written into it. :D
