Ok, so now I’m writing this for yesterday. I popped over to Methodist to attend their once-a-month Saturday food distribution, where unfortunately they don’t usually need a lot of translation, and then Miguel and I both popped over to the performance of a guy who I know from the gym, Bernie. Bernie was playing with  few members of his band, the Surf Dawgs. They were just performing at an old folks home yesterday, and Bernie was really just playing guitar, and the other guy, whose name was Zippy, also played guitar. Basically, how the show was set up was because literally Bernie had contacted a few old folks homes and asked them if they wanted to hear a little music.  Oh, and I’ve also got one picture of some food limits at the food shelf, but they didn’t have a permanent marker to edit their sign. Fortunately, I always carry extra permanent markers with me, so I helped them!
