05-21-24: Mayo Visit with Leanne and Spanish class

I took my meds with two eggs and left for Miguel’s house at 7:30 am, Then I got there by 7:59 am. We left his house by 8:04am, and I drove us down to Mayo Clinic. We arrived at 9:41 am to the St. Mary’s campus. Because we were running a bit late, I decided to run in and check in right away, while he went to park the car in the Mayo Clinic ramp. Then, we both met with Leanne Elmer, the speech therapist who had been recommended to me by Jessica, my other occupational therapist. She was very happy to meet with Miguel and I. She also gave me a few recommendations of things to work on. After the appointment with Leanne E., I decided to have Miguel drive me back home just so I could work on some photo of the day posts. Speaking of, unfortunately I’m writing this post for the 21st several days later. Then, when we get home we realized that my new earrings hanger that mom had ordered me had arrived, and I filled like one rack of earrings. After that, we decided to attend this one doctor’s appointment together, which was kind of like an OBGYN. After that, we decided to go eat at his house, and after pork, veggies and rice with Miguel, I went to my second to last Spanish class, which is where I took my far right photo, of me saying in Spanish that “I love all of my green.”
