On Saturday morning, I got up a little late because I had stayed out so late the night before at Mancini’s. I had my regular breakfast, but not until 9:45 am.

Then, Kerry and I went to Nails & Company to get a manicure. I got neon pink sparkles that are very bright and fun. Pauline was the one who did my nails, and she is from Vietnam — but not from Hanoi, which is the capital that I knew. Kerry and I then went to Sister Sludge for coffee cake and a chai latte. I liked the coffee cake a lot. It was almost as good as my aunt Kaky’s.

I was still so tired that I took a huge nap from 1:15 to 3:30 pm. This was good because the whole family was going to come over for dinner, along with Kerry, Miguel, and a friend of my mom’s named Kathy. Grandma JoAnn, Jodi, Bill and Talia were there too. We had a chicken and sun-dried tomatoes pasta dish from a restaurant, along with Ceasar sald, garlic bread and apple pie and chocolate pie for dessert. I ate the apple pie with ice cream.

Kerry and I with my hot pink manicure, then a photo of me at Sister Sludge having coffee cake. Talia and I on the couch and me later in the day outside enjoying the sun and my manicure.
