05.02.25: Kerry visiting & dancing at Mancini’s watching Bernie’s band

On Friday afternoon, my aunt Kerry arrived from Salt Lake City. We had Mexican food from Pinedas Tacos for dinner. I had horchata to drink along with 1/2 a chicken enchilada and one steak taco with beans and rice.

After that we all went to Mancini’s in St. Paul to listen to my friend Bernie play in his band at Mancini’s. His band is called the Surf Dawgs and he’s been in it a long time. They play mostly classic rock. I first met Bernie at the JCC (gym) where I work out because he was wearing a Brazil shirt and I went up to him and asked him if he was from Brazil. Then, he started quizzing me on world capitals via text. This is the second I’ve gone to see him perform. This time, I danced a bit more with Miguel. In addition to Kerry, my aunt Jodi and her boyfriend Bill came to the show. We stayed longer than we planned because we were having so much fun.
