042624: FUN: The gym and video chat

April 26, 2024:

OK, now I did NOT write this yesterday. I had a pretty nice day yesterday. It seems like I went to the gym, I did yoga with Elizabeth, who was subbing for Jordan, and also worked out with both Bernie and his wife Cathy. They’re the ones who are in my photo at the gym together. I had to run home though to talk to my mom about something with my credit card too. Anyways, at night I ended up video chatting a bit more with Miguel. I’m trying to actually get to know him better, and not just bond over physical things immediately and never actually develop a relationship. HONESTLY a HUGE thing we connect over is Spanish. He also claims that I can help him with his English too, so it’s kind of an ideal situation for both of us. Anyways, we literally talked very late last night. Looking at my phone, I took the screenshot of the video chat at 7:05pm, and we continued talking literally the rest of the night. Literally, I think we ended up both  falling asleep while we were still on the call, so basically we very literally “slept together,” even though he was at his house in St. Paul and I was in Minneapolis at my dad’s house. 

For photos, I have a picture of me holding my very useful volunteering pin, that says “yo hablo español,” a photo with Bernie and Cathy at the gym, and then a screenshot of my nighttime video chat with Miguel, which I think we started around 5:20 pm or so.
