042524: Gummies/meds plus Miguel (and family’s food)

Ok so this is the best day ever to write my photo of the day. I feel quite happy and would like to talk about it all. And now a copy+paste from earlier today: “Pregunta bien importante: Y en serio, si no trabajas como voluntario, que haces con todo tu tiempo? Pq estamos en situaciones similares ahora.” Literally today I asked Miguel... if ya don’t work as a volunteer, what do you do with all your time? (Since we’re in kinda similar situations tbh.)

OK, so today in my therapy session, Whitney told me that “He seems really kind” and “but you don’t want to jam pack your schedule so much you can’t do other things you enjoy. And now that I have Miguel in my life, I’m sort of questioning whether I want to be working so much, even as a volunteer, because that IS real working, even if I didn’t believe it was back when I desperately wanted to make myself “as normal as possible.” 

But in a way, the “bad” things like I have in my life, like the cancer and the traumatic brain injury, have actually sort of helped me to connect with him too. We’ll see how things go at least!
