On Saturday, we visited Talia’s special class project presentation on the University of Minnesota campus. It is for a class and about the history of student protests at the U. She learned InDesign for this project and created eight huge display posters for a whole long hallway in Blegen Hall.

Miguel and Mom came and visited as well, and after checking it out, we used a green wheelchair to walk over the Mississippi River from the West Bank to the East Bank campus. In the photo to the top right, you can see the selfie we took in front of the Weisman Art Museum.

Later on, my uncle Tom and aunt Chris visited from Illinois. They came over in the afternoon and we played Oh, Heck — a card game that we had to teach them about. For dinner, we ordered from Chimborazo, which is my favorite restaurant ever. We had churrasco (flank steak), with rice, a fried egg, french fries, plus llapingachos and shrimp ceviche.

After dinner, Papa and Talia went to a play at the Guthrie, and the rest of stayed home and played Scattergories, which was really fun, and we laughed a lot when people tried to convince each other that their answers deserved to get points

Eating Chimborazo with Uncle Tom and his wife, Aunt Chris, and using my shot glass collection to take shots of chicha morada, a Peruvian drink... Finally, us posing with Mom and Talia after walking through her presentation on the West Bank.
