All right, I kind of skipped a week here because I was in the hospital for more than a week. First, I went to a hospital in Minneapolis for nose bleeds that wouldn’t stop, and then it turned out that I had pneumonia. After a couple a couple days, they discharged me, but shortly after I got home, my nose started to bleed again. So then my mom took me to Mayo Clinic Emergency Department. That then turned into about 10 days inpatient, where I had a lot of scans, and a bone marrow biopsy, and got treated for a urinary tract infection. So, I’m skipping most of that week!

I got discharged on Wednesday, April 23, and I was VERY happy to be home so I could sleep in my own bed finally. Then on Friday, I went back with the whole family for four appoints. First I met with Dr. Flanagan, my neurologist, and he did a full exam. Then, I met with Dr. Abeykoon, my hematologist — who met my sister Talia for the first time. Then, we drove from the Methodist Campus to the St. Mary’s Campus, where I met with Jessica and Leanne, my occupational and speech therapists. Then I had a blood draw, which Julius got on his first poke!

After that, we went to the St. Mary’s cafeteria for a late lunch. I had fish tacos, but they fell apart a bit. Then, after a really long day, we drove home. I took a nap, I think.
