04.11.25: Surprise! Doctor appt, then ED, then pneumonia and hospital

For breakfast, I had cheesy eggs, bacon, and avocado toast.

Then Jodi came over... and she made me a smoothie that had blueberry yogurt with banana and apple added, once she found the blender, which was bit of a struggle for her.

She also drove me to a doctor’s visit to look into my bleeding nose... it was Dr. Gerardin. He did something to help stop some of the bleeding, but we ended up going to the emergency room anyways later anyways. 

My cancer doctor really wanted me to be seen by an ENT for nose bleeds ... so mom took me to Abbott Northwestern’s emergency Department. And we had a surprise... I have pneumonia and I got admitted so I can receive IV antibiotics. 

The nurses and ENT were great. My nurse got me with ONE poke for two IVs... which NEVER happens. The x-ray tech and ENT were also both 5’9” tall like me, too!!!

I probably won’t need to stay long ... hopefully just one day to get the antibiotics going.

Papa is supposed to be bringing pizza over soon, for dinner and meds!  My nose is also bleeding quite a bit less, recently, just to add!!!
