01.23.25: Doctor visits all day at Mayo Clinic

Thursday, the 23rd of January/Enero

Dr. Abeykoon's visit on the 10th floor, me in the waiting room, Dr. Flanagan's visit on the 8th floor 

Breakfast at Comfort Inn was waffles, sausage and little scrambled egg and hot cocoa. The left photo below shows my mom and I eating that breakfast

Then to Mayo for blood test. It took them three pokes go to get me this time.

Then I had an MRI. The photo below in blue shows me waiting for that. They got the IV poke on their first try this time, maybe because I had drunk some water for my blood test.

Then we had lunch at Mayo. The photo below shows the view looking up from the cafeteria

This day, I had meetings with my cancer doctor and my neurologist. They are two people who have treated me since 2017 and 2019, and both took photos with me.

Last photo on bottom right is my mom working for a little bit between the doctor’s appointments. We went up to the 19th floor of the Mayo building, overlooking the city.

The day didn’t finish until close to 5:30 pm. We drove home, and I had cheeseburger and a little mango pineapple shake with my meds. Then, I took a nap too, since my mom was driving.
